Ingredients

- [ ]3.5 tsp Baking powder
- [ ]1 tbsp Granulated sugar
- [ ]1/2 tsp Kosher salt
- [ ]1.25 cups Milk
- [ ]1 egg Large egg
- [ ]3 tbsp Melted butter or oil
Substitutions:

Instructions

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

Create a well in the center and pour in milk, egg, and melted butter. Whisk until just combined (a few lumps are completely fine; do not overmix).

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with a little butter or oil.
- 4.
Pour 1/4 cup of batter per pancake onto the hot griddle, cooking 3 or 4 at a time. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until bubbles form on the surface and pop. The batter makes about 8 pancakes.

Flip carefully with a spatula and cook the other side for 1 to 2 minutes until golden brown.
- 6.
Serve warm with butter and maple syrup or honey.
