- [ ]3 cups Cooked white or brown rice
- [ ]1 can (15 oz), rinsed and drained Canned black beans
- [ ]1 tbsp Chili powder
- [ ]1 tsp Ground cumin
- [ ]1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- [ ]1/3 cup Water or broth
- [ ]To taste Salt and pepper

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook for 6 minutes, breaking into crumbles, until browned.

Drain excess fat if needed. Sprinkle chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the meat.

Pour in 1/3 cup water and drained black beans. Simmer for 3 minutes until sauce thickens and coats the meat.

Divide warm rice among bowls and top generously with seasoned beef and beans.
